Sand in Motion

With the creation of one of the highlights of Dutch Design Week 2019, Sandhelden and Studio Rive Roshan present the Stilled Life collection, which captures the sound of silence and the beauty of a fleeting moment that all the senses can absorb. Our eyes are free to be amazed as the mind pauses. Our feet remind us of our sense of touch as we walk over water.

In an ethereal landscape made up of spatial installations, objects and artifacts, Rive Roshan tries to take this one step closer in her search for an understanding of beauty.

The Amsterdam-based studio presented sand as a new design material in the KRL Sand gallery during Dutch Design Week 2019. A memorable presentation that makes the innovation in the product understandable to the public.

An installation dedicated to the concept of the Sandhelden brand and material innovation. A place where brands, press and designers can understand the essence of what sand heroes do.

A sculpture garden covered with water was used to showcase the collaboration between sand heroes and Rive Roshan. Hypnotic colors and patterns from the result of the collaboration between Moooi Carpets and Rive Roshan bring magic to the entire installation.
